Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia. Dr. Jeffords allows majority of his patients to go home the same day. Depending on the amount and type of correction needed. You should expect swelling and bruising of the nose and eye area after your nose reshaping procedure. You will need to wear a splint for the week following your rhinoplasty. Mild pain is common after surgery, but is easily controlled with prescription pain medicine. The procedure I will use for your nose reshaping depends on your nasal bone structure and personal concerns that you may have.
