Here at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center in Atlanta Georgia Dr. Jeffords does lip augmentation under local anesthesia or with minimal sedation. The surgery can be performed as an outpatient and you will be able to go home the same day. Most of my patients report that swelling resolves within the first week. Pain is minimal and is easily controlled. The recovery process will depend upon the type of lip augmentation selected.
